Tacloban Flights Guide
The Philippine city of Tacloban sits on the northeast shore of Eastern Visayas in the province of Leyte. It was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan in November of 2013.
Most of the city’s seafront was swept away by a major storm surge wave. The sites in the city were the MacArthur National Park, which is still there, and the Santo Nino Shrine. The San Juanico Bridge is the country’s largest and also survived. Most come also to see the Sohoton National Park, which offers tours through a massive complex of caves.
Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport serves the city. When it is functioning, it receives flights from Cebu Pacific, Tigerair, AirAsia Zest and Philippine Airlines.
