Named for a governor of New York named Fiorello LaGuardia, this sprawling airport in Queens is the busiest airport in the country that does not have nonstop service to Europe. Originally named for the aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss, LaGuardia Airport is home to Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and American Eagle, just a few of the airlines that fly in and out on a daily basis.
There are many hotels, restaurants and tourists attractions located in and around LaGuardia; hotels include the New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott, the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel, the Courtyard New York LaGuardia Airport, Hampton Inn New York LaGuardia Airport, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, the upscale Hotel de Point, and Central Park North Suites.

Just a few of the best ones include Five Guys (located inside the airport in the Central Terminal), Brooklyn National Deli, Cavo Restaurant (serving up delicious Greek fare), Piccola Venezia (this one offers Italian cuisine), Water’s Edge restaurant that offers contemporary American dishes, or have lunch at the Parkside Restaurant.
