Fargo Flights Guide
Founded in 1877, North Dakota’s town of Fargo has been around for much longer than its popularity, made by the film of the same name. Contrary to the film’s core, the city is not known for serial killers; though, it does get mighty cold. Fargo owes its existence to the railroad that comes from Minnesota, across the Red River.
Today Fargo is an unobtrusive town that describes Middle America in tones fit for a city of its size. Just 100,000 people call Fargo home. The old buildings that line the old part of its downtown are typical of the new western cities, and indeed Fargo was once known as the Gateway to the West. Today, some of the sights in Fargo include the architecture on the North Dakota State University campus, the Fargo Air Museum and Fargo Theatre. Not far away from Fargo is an unlikely attraction. It is the KXJB-TV mast, which, despite Dubai’s super skyscrapers that have left other towers in the dust, remains the world’s tallest manmade structure.
Hector International Airport receives flights for the city. United, Delta, Frontier, Allegiant Air and American Eagle provide regular service to Fargo.
