Chittagong Flights Guide
Bangladesh has traditionally been accessed via the natural harbor at Chittagong, in the south of the country on the Indian Ocean. It has been in Portuguese and British hands, it has been destroyed by monsoons. Today, it retains a luster few Bangladeshi cities can claim.
The harbor is quite large, and the seafront is always crowded with boats of all sizes. There are numerous things that visitors to the city come for. Patenga Beach is one, as is Foy’s Lake. The Shrine of Bayazid Bostami is important, and the Heritage Park will take an entire day to see. During WII many died, and the Commonwealth War Cemetery marks their graves.
Shah Amanat International Airport is the city’s air connection. Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Regent Airways and NovoAir are some of the carriers with service.
