Chihuahua Flights Guide
The northern Mexican city of Chihuahua is the capital of the state of the same name. Historically a Spanish mission town, then a center for ranching, today it has one of the region’s quaintest historic centers.
Its main square under the auspices of the proud cathedral is speckled by three shady gazebos and trees. There are a number of period mansions to view by the names of Terrazas, Creel and Quinta Carolina. In the Temple of San Francisco one can get a bit of Mexican history by seeing the old tomb of Hidalgo. Outside of town is a large cave system called the Grutas de Nombre de Dios, a must-see and perfect cap to a trip to Chihuahua.
General Roberto Fierro Villalobos International Airport serves the city. United, Aeromexico, Volaris and Interjet are some of the carriers with service here.
