Virgin Atlantic
Virgin Atlantic is a UK based airline, whose maiden route was the transatlantic journey to London from New York. The airline now flies from many American cities to over 30 destinations worldwide, including Dubai, Cape Town, Mumbai and Hong Kong. London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester airports are Virgin Atlanticcs main hubs, with international flights from the US connecting at these airports for onward worldwide travel.
Virgin Atlantic offers Upper Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class on its aircraft. Dedicated check in desks are available for passengers in both Upper Class and Premium Economy. Passengers travelling in Upper Class Cabins sit in seats that convert to fully flat beds and are able to drink at the onboard bar. Personal entertainment systems and complimentary meals and drinks are standard in all classes.
The V.KiD entertainment channels are designed to be suitable for children, but a parental block can be placed on individual entertainment systems if required to ensure that children do not view anything unsuitable on that or other channels.
The frequent flyer loyalty program operated by Virgin Atlantic is called the Flying Club, and membership levels within it are Red, Silver and Gold. Benefits include free flights, upgrades and lounge access (dependent on membership level).
