Northwest Airlines is a US based airlines and is one of the biggest airlines in the world. NWA operates a fleet of 515 aircraft (as at 09/30/07) and flies to 255 destinations worldwide. Northwest has hubs at Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP), Memphis (MEM), Tokyo (NRT) and Amsterdam (AMS). Focus cities for Northwest are Honolulu (HNL), Indianapolis (IND) and Seattle (SEA).

Northwest is a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance, alongside airlines such as, Aeroflot, AeroMMxico, Air France, Alitalia, Continental Airlines, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Korean Air.

Northwest operates a frequent flyer program called WorldPerks. Point can be earned by flying with Northwest Airlines, SkyTeam alliance member airlines or other WorldPerks airlines partners.

WorldClubs
For a fee, passengers can become members of WorldClubs. Members get entry to 150 WorldClubs and affiliated partner lounges across the world. Snacks, refreshments and business facilities are amongst the benefits available to WorldClubs members.
