Air India, Indiaas national flag carrier, has its main hubs at Mumbai and Delhi airports. It flies from four destinations in the United States Los Angeles, Chicago, Newark and New York. Daily non-stop flights are available from New York to Mumbai or Delhi. A daily service is also available to Newark via Paris.

Air India operates First, Executive and Economy Class cabins on its international flight routes. Passengers in First and Executive Class may take advantage of seats that convert into lie-flat beds. Passengers in Economy Class have footrests on their seats for extra comfort. Personal seatback televisions are available in all classes, as are complimentary meals and beverages.

Air India operates its own lounges at Delhi, London, Hong Kong, New York and Mumbai, and has agreements with airlines at other airports to allow its passengers to use their lounge facilities.

Flying Returns is the frequent flyer program of Air India. Members, who must be aged 12 years or above, can accrue points towards reward flights. Reward tickets can be transferred by the member to a person of their choice.
