Cebu Pacific Flight Guide
Cebu Pacific History
Cebu Pacific is one of the largest carriers in the Philippines. It is a low-cost airline that has been around since 1988. Today it is one of the primary low-cost airlines in the region. Its main hub is Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the capital of the Philippines, Manila.
Cebu Pacific flies 47 aircraft, and in the next few years it will almost double. These planes fly to some 55 destinations mostly centered in the South Asian regions.
Why fly Cebu Pacific?
Cebu Pacific is not necessarily the most comfortable airline to fly but it is indeed one of the cheapest. That is the main reason to fly with Cebu Pacific. Millions of passengers are served per year, and Cebu Pacific is one of the best options to save money and get to short haul destinations.
Cebu Pacific does not have a traditional loyalty program. What it does have is called Ceb Club. Through membership in Ceb Club, one can enjoy a number of benefits that have to do with bookings. The club card makes it easier to book flights and to manage them, and those members are privy to early notification of special deals and vacation packages.
Cebu Pacific Flight Destinations
Cebu Pacific mostly serves a domestic clientele. They also have airport destinations in 14 foreign countries. Those countries that it serves include China (with several cities on their route lists), Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, South Korea and Japan.
Unlike regular carriers, the low-cost Cebu Pacific does not hold any special partnerships or codeshare agreements that allow their passengers to travel on other airlines under one ticket.
On Board Cebu Pacific
Cebu Pacific offers a discount to those who are traveling with less luggage. This discount is calculated once they can confirm your light load. The economy seats aboard Cebu Pacific planes are nothing to get excited about. They are standard, with fake leather and average pitch and width. One can reserve their seat for an extra fee, otherwise they are assigned. The service is good, but drinks, snacks and meals must be purchased. Cebu Pacific is not known for its comfort but rather for its simplistic offerings.
Business Class Flights
There is no Business Class aboard Cebu Pacific planes. One can reserve a seat in one of the exit rows, which usually come with additional legroom, but requires one to be willing and t have the strength required to assist in an emergency.
Cebu Pacific Lounges
There are no lounges for passengers of Cebu Pacific; however there are lounges for crew. Customers with Cebu Pacific can pay the fee to enter generic airport lounges where those facilities are available.
Cebu Pacific’s website can be found at www.cebupacificair.com. There, one can book their flight ticket and manage it as well. It is a simple site that is regularly updated with deals. For those who are looking to make their trip even cheaper than what is already offered, it might be advisable to join the Ceb Club in order to receive updates about deals and coupons. However, it wouldn’t be necessary for one-time flyers.
