Alaska Airlines
Alaska Airlines is a Seattle based airline. Alaska Airlines hubs are at Seattle (Tacoma International airport) and Anchorage (Ted Steven International Airport) and focus cities for Alaska Airlines are San Francisco (SFO), Portland (PDX) and Los Angeles (LAX).
Horizon Air is a subsidiary of the holding company, Alaska Air Group Inc. The airline was founded in 1934 after a merger between McGee and Star Air Service. The Alaska airlines fleet is made up of 186 passenger aircraft.
Alaska Airlines operates a frequent flier program called Mileage Club. Members of Mileage Club enjoy many benefits including free flights, upgrades and much more. If you accumulate a pre-determined number of miles in a calendar year, your membership may be upgraded to MVP status or MVP Gold status, meaning that you receive even more benefits.
The Alaska Airlines lounge is called Board Room. There are Alaska Airlines Board Rooms at various locations throughout the US and Canada, including Anchorage, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Portland International Airport (PDX), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Seattle / Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Entry to the Alaska Airlines Board Room is restricted to Board Room members.
