Air Mauritius Flight Guide
Air Mauritius HistoryDespite being the airline of an Indian Ocean island nation located off the east coast of Madagascar, Air Mauritius is considered to be the 4th-largest carrier in lower Africa. It has been around since 1967 and since then has grown into the reputable fleet it is today. That fleet comprises 12 planes that serve 26 destinations. The islands that make up Mauritius, however, have been the frequent victims of pirate activity nearby, and failing tourism has greatly hindered the airline’s profitability. ![]() Why fly Air Mauritius?Air Mauritius flies out of its hub at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Port Louis.
