Air Canada is the national carrier of Canada and is part of the Star Alliance airline alliance. Global Traveler voted Air Canada the Best Airline in North America in 2007. The airline flies directly to over 50 destinations within the United States.

Air Canada offers a la carte pricing on flights within Canada and the United States, with tickets available offering four different levels of service. Tango is the basic fare, with Tango Plus and Latitude offering more flexibility and additional features. Executive Class is the fourth option available. Latitude and Executive offer complimentary inflight snacks and priority check in, amongst other benefits.

Flight passes are available to purchase for travel in the United States or between the United States and Canada. Passes are for a set number of flight credits or for unlimited flights for a set monthly fee. There are a number of different types of passes, including a North America Pass and a Western Pass. To purchase a pass, passengers must be members of Aeroplan.

Aeroplan is the loyalty program participated in by Air Canada. Benefits available to members include lounge access, priority check in and upgrades, depending on the membership level held.

Air Canada owns Air Canada Jazz and operates flights to many US and Canadian destinations through this subsidiary.
