Tucson International Airport (TUS) is located 8 miles south of downtown Tucson, Arizona. Originally founded in 1919, Tucson International Airport serves an average of 3.6 million passengers each year.

Transfer between Terminals


Tucson International Airport's main terminal has two concourses: Concourse A and Concourse B. All international arrivals and departures use the Main Terminal. Tucson International Airportís terminal and concourses are accessible by foot.

Transport into Town


Bus: Sun Tran bus routes #6 and #11 provide transportation to and from the airport. These buses stop on the lower level west of main terminal in front of Customs and Border Patrol office.

Tucson International Airport has one special lounge. A military lounge is located near the baggage claim.

Major Airlines


Tucson International Airport is not a hub or focus city for any airline. Six airlines fly out of and into Tucson International Airport: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Southwest, United Airlines, and US Airways. Southwest Airlines is Tucson International Airportís largest carrier, carrying 36% of its passengers. American Airlines is the second largest with 22% of TUSís market.

Free wireless internet is available throughout the Tucson International Airport. There are several galleries located throughout the terminal including TIA Gallery Lower Link Gallery near Baggage Claim and ARTport, the airport employee's art gallery. Tucson International Airport is home to ten different eateries, in addition to a handful of shopping options.

Car Parking


Garage parking costs $3 an hour and $9 a day. Hourly parking costs $1 per 30 minutes and $12 per day. Daily parking costs $1 per 30 minutes for the first hour then $1.50 an hour and $9 a day. Economy parking at Tucson Blvd. and Corona costs $4 a day, and covered economy parking costs $5 a day.
