Tampa International Airport (TPA) is located 6 miles west of downtown Tampa, Florida. Tampa is one of only two airports in the United States to have regularly scheduled flights to Cuba. Transfer between Terminals
Tampa International Airport was the first airport in the world to boast a revolutionary Landside/Airside design. Ticketing and baggage operations take place in the Landside Terminal. The Landside Terminal is surrounded by four Airside Satellite Terminals. Tampa Airport’s central terminal is connected to the satellite terminals by automated people movers. The Airside Satellite Terminals are designated Airside A, Airside C, Airside E, and Airside F.

Transport into Town
Bus: HART Regional Transit serves Tampa Airport. The bus stop is located at the East end of the Red Baggage Claim Curbside by Belt #15. Red Coach, Inc. serves TPA and offers transportation to Miami, FL. Taxi: Taxis can be located in all four corners of the Baggage Claim Level. There is a maximum flat rate fee of $25 to Downtown Tampa and the cruise port.
There are only two special lounges in the Tampa International Airport. Delta Sky Club Lounge is located in Concourse E near Gate 68. US Airways Club Lounge is located in Concourse F near Gate 85, and is open from 5:30am - 7pm Sunday-Friday, and 6:15am-7pm on Saturday.
Tampa International Airport is a hub for Silver Airways. TPA is the maintenance base for World Airways and North American Airlines. Southwest Airlines carries a majority of TPA’s passengers.
TPA’s Landside Terminal has three levels and hosts many special amenities including food courts, a shopping mall, and a hotel. Among the typical airport fare are several eateries with their roots in the Tampa area. Travelers can dine at the iconic Ybor City’s Columbia Restaurant, downtown Tampa's Mise en Place's First Flight wine bar, and Cigar City Brewing's pub. TPA is home to an extensive Arts Program. Exhibits can located throughout the terminals.
Free wireless internet is available throughout the airport. Tampa International Airport has over 20,000 parking spots available to travelers. Short-term parking can be located on Levels 4-9 of the Landside Terminal Building. Short-term parking is free for the first hour and $20 a day. Long-term parking can be located in the Long-Term Parking Garage. Long-term parking is free for the first hour and $16 for a day. Both covered and open-air parking is available in the Economy Parking Lot. A 24-hour free shuttle connects travelers to the terminal. Economy parking is $9 a day.
