Transfer between Terminals
The airport consists of two main buildings, the Landside Terminal and the Airside Terminal. The Landside Terminal includes ticketing, all baggage claim areas, security checkpoints, and ground transportation. The Airside Terminal consists of four concourses, Concourses A, B, C, and D. These two terminals are linked by the Pittsburgh airport underground people mover.
Transport into Town
Bus: Bus route 28X Airport Flyer via West Busway serves the Pittsburgh International Airport and various points in and around Pittsburgh. The bus departs approximately every 30 minutes. Pittsburgh International Airport has only one special lounge. A US Airways Club is located in the Airside Terminal in Concourse B. There is also a Military Family Comfort Center near Gate A4.
US Airways and Southwest Airlines are the two largest carriers at PIT.
The Airside Terminal is home to the AirMall which has more than one hundred shops. Travelers can enjoy the Carnegie Science Center and various history exhibits throughout the airport. Concourse C is home to a children's play area, and an exhibit commemorating Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Free wireless internet is available throughout the terminals.
Short-term parking is located in a garage and costs $1 for one hour and $24 for one day. Long-term parking is connected to the terminal via moving walkway. Long-term parking rates are $3 for one hour and $13 for one day. Extended parking is connected to the airport via frequent shuttle buses. Extended parking rates are $8 a day.
