Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is located 3 miles southeast of downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Based on passenger traffic, PHX is one of the top ten busiest airports in the United States. Phoenix International Airport is the primary regional hub and gateway for Mexican and Hawaiian destinations. Sky Harbor Airport was built in 1928 and was the fourth airport founded in the Phoenix area.
Transfer between Terminals
Phoenix Airport has three Terminals labeled Terminal 2, Terminal 3, and Terminal 4. A free 24-hour airport shuttle bus connects all of the terminals and West Economy Parking.

Bus: Valley Metro bus route 13 stops at all three airport terminals. Rail: The PHX Sky Train is an automated train that travels between the 44th Street and Washington Valley Metro Light Rail Station, the East Economy parking area and Terminal 4. Shuttle: A free Airport shuttle service operates 24 hours, seven days per week between all airport terminals and West Economy Parking parking areas. Bus: Bus Routes 1, 3, and 44 travel to cities such as Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.
Phoenix Airport has three lounges in two terminals. Terminal 2 is home to the United Airlines United Club. In Terminal 4 travelers can find British Airways Terraces Lounge and three locations of US Airways Club in Concourses A1, A2, and B1. The USO Lounge is located in Terminal 2, Level 3.

West Economy parking is closer to Terminal 2 and 3 and is connected to the airport via a free shuttle bus which run every 7 to 10 minutes. West Economy uncovered parking costs $9 a day and West Economy Garage Parking costs $11 a day. Terminal 2, 3, and 4 parking garages costs $4 an hour and $25 a day.
