Transfer between Terminals
LHR is divided into five terminals. Terminal 1 is home to Ireland's Aer Lingus, and several Star Alliance airlines. Terminal 2 is currently under construction and is scheduled to open on 4 June 2014. Terminal 3 houses Singapore Airlines, Emirates, and Qantas. Terminal 4 is home to the SkyTeam alliance. Terminal 5 is used by British Airways and the International Airlines Group. Terminals 1 and 3 can be reached by foot, but transfers to Terminal 4 and 5 are accessible by the Heathrow Express trains or bus. Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect travel between Heathrow Central and Terminals 4 and 5. This service is free. ULTra Personal Rapid Transport shuttles passengers to and from Terminal 5. Local buses are provided free of charge under the "Heathrow FreeFlow" scheme.

Transport into Town
Train: Heathrow Express off non-stop service directly to London's Paddington station. Trains leave every 15 minutes for the 15-minute journey. Heathrow Connect: This train service stops at five stations between LHR and Paddington. Trains leave every 30 minutes for the 27-minute journey. London Underground, Piccadilly line: Four tube stations serve the airport. The standard journey time from Heathrow Terminals to Central London is around 40–50 minutes. Bus and Coach: Many buses and coaches operate from Heathrow airport central bus stations. Services include long-distance coach services operated by National Express and Oxford Bus Company to various parts of the UK, including Victoria Coach Station in London. HotelHoppa: These buses connect each terminal with hotels in the Heathrow area. RailAir: These coaches services connect nearby railway stations with the airport.
Terminal 1 houses lounges by Aer Lingus, British Airways, Bmi, Cyprus Airways, El Al, Finnair, Icelandair, and South African Airways. Terminal 3 houses lounges by Air Canada, American Airlines, Air India, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Kuwait Airways, Malaysia Airlines System, SAS, Saudi Arabian, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, and Virgin Atlantic. Terminal 4 is home to British Airways’ lounge. Terminal 5 has six lounges operated by British Airways. The lounges are for First Class, Club World, Club Europe, Gold and Silver Executive Club travelers. No.1 Traveler Lounge is located in Terminal 3.

The Long Stay Car Parks offer a free courtesy coach service connecting them to the terminals. The shuttle runs every ten minutes to Terminals 1 and 3 with a journey time of seven to 15 minutes. For Terminal 4, the service runs every ten minutes and takes approximately three to seven minutes. For Terminal 5, the service runs every ten minutes and takes approximately five minutes. Drive-up prices are £22.00 for the first day and for each additional 24-hour period it costs £17.20. Long Stay Peak Rates are £25.30 for the first day and £19.80 for each additional 24-hour period after. Heathrow Business Car Parks are located closer to the terminals. Business parking rates range from £25.30 to £32.40 per day. Heathrow Short Stay Parking can be found next to each of the terminals. Short Stay Parking rates range from £3.00 for less than 30 minutes to £53.90 for 12-24 hours. Heathrow Meet & Greet Parking is similar to Valet Parking but at a lower price. Meet and Greet Parking is located in the Short Stay car parks. Heathrow Meet & Greet must be pre-booked. Valet Parking at Heathrow is available at all terminals. Rates range from £67.30 for one day to £139.20 for four days, and an additional £18.80 per 24-hour period after the four-day rate.
