McCarran International Airport (LAS) is located 5 miles south of downtown Las Vegas. In terms of aircraft movement, LAS is the 8th busiest airport in the world. Las Vegas’s airport is named for the former Nevada Senator Pat McCarran. The site of McCarran International Airport was originally home to area's first airport—Alamo Airport, which was founded by a descendant of the famous frontiersman, Davy Crocket.
Transfer between Terminals
McCarran International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are connected by an Inter-Terminal Shuttle. This shuttle stops on Level Zero of both terminals and runs every 12-15 minutes.

Transport into Town
Taxi: Taxis are available outside Terminal 1 on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1 - 4. Taxis are available in Terminal 3 outside on Level Zero. Bus: The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) stops at Terminal 1 on Level Zero. Shuttle: Various companies operate group shuttles from the airport to Las Vegas. These companies include Airline Shuttle Corp, Bell Trans, Showtime and SuperShuttle.
The Club at LAS are two lounges in LAS located in Terminal 1, Airside, Gate D16, Concourse D and in Terminal 3, Airside, Gate E2. These lounges are open from 6am - 12am. The Centurion Lounge is located Airside, D Gates. United Club is located in Terminal 1, Concourse D, airside and is open from 5:30am - 12:30am. The International Lounge is located in Terminal 2, airside, near Gate 3. USO Lounge offers rest and relaxation to military personnel and their families. McCarran International Airport is a focus city for Allegiant Air and Southwest Airlines. Currently, LAS is the largest base for both Allegiant and Southwest. The airport is also a crew and maintenance base for Spirit Airlines.

Terminal 1 Short-Term Parking is located in the covered parking garage on Level 2M and costs $2 for 1 hour up to $36 for 24 hours. Terminal 1 Long-Term Parking is located in the garage immediately adjacent to Terminal 1 on Levels 1M, 3, 4, 5, and 6 and costs $3 for 1 hour up to $16 for 24 hours. Terminal 1 Valet Parking is located in the garage immediately adjacent to Terminal 1 on Level 2 and costs $23 a day. Terminal 1 Economy Parking is located at 576 Kitty Hawk Way, just off of Paradise Road and costs $10 a day. Terminal 3 Short-Term Parking is located just outside Terminal 3 in the covered parking garage on Level 1 and costs $2 for 1 hour up to $36 for 24 hours.
