Transfer between Terminals


The airport complex includes a main terminal and two midfield terminal buildings which are called Concourses A/B and C/D. In total, Dulles has 123 gates and 16 hardstand locations. The AeroTrain carries passengers between the Main Terminal and the A, B, and C Gates. Travel time between stations is approximately 72 seconds.

Transport into Town


Bus: Loudoun County Transit provides a bus service which travels from the Dulles Town Center shopping center, to the airport, and then to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Air and Space Museum. The Shenandoah Valley Commuter Bus connects to airport from the Vienna and Rosslyn Metro station. The Fairfax Connector service to Dulles is via route 981 from Tysons Corner to Reston and finally to Herndon. The 5A express bus makes two stops en route to the airport. Stops include the Herndon–Monroe Park & Ride lot in Herndon and the Rosslyn Metro station in Arlington. It terminates at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station in Southwest DC. Other: Taxis and SuperShuttles are also available.

Airport Lounges


A Concourse is home to Air France Lounge across from gate A22, Etihad Airways First and Business class lounge located opposite gate A15, and Virgin Atlantic across from gate A32. B Concourse hosts All Nippon Airways Lounge First at gate B51, British Airways Galleries Club and Galleries First lounges, Lufthansa’s Senator Lounge, and Business Lounge at gate B51. United Airlines operates two clubs in C Concourse, one in D Concourse, and one United International First Lounge in C Concourse. USO Lounge is located in the Main Terminal in Arrivals across from baggage claim number 12. The USO Lounge is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm.

Dulles is a hub for United Airlines which handled nearly 57% of the airport’s passengers. JetBlue handled 6.8% of scheduled passengers and American Airlines is the airport's 3rd largest airline.

Airport Facilities


Dulles International Airport welcomes travels to the Washington, DC area with rotating art exhibits, live performances, and public art displays. Free wireless internet is provided in the Main Terminal and concourse areas.

Car Parking


Valet parking offers quick return texting service at a rate of $35 for the first 24 hours and $25 for each additional 24 hour period. Hourly  parking is located directly across from the terminal for $5.00 per each hour and a maximum $36 per day. Two parking garages offer a combined 8,325 spaces located close to the terminal. Both garages have easy access to the terminal by covered pedestrian walkways or shuttle service. Rates start at $4.00 per each half hour and maximum of $17 per day. The Economy parking lot offers more than 12,000 parking spaces just minutes by shuttle from the terminal. Shuttle service to and from the terminal is provided 24 hours per day and runs every 10 minutes. Rates start at $5.00 per hour with a maximum of $10 per day.
