Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is located 3 miles southwest of downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In terms of passenger traffic, FLL is the 21st busiest airport in the United States. The airport was originally founded in 1929 on a 9-hole golf course.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has four terminals. Terminal 1 is called the New Terminal, Terminal 2 is referred to as the Delta Terminal, Terminal 3 is known as the Main Terminal and Terminal 4 is called the International Terminal.

Bus: Broward County Transit bus Route 1 offers service throughout the Central Terminal. Rail: The Tri-Rail commuter rail service stops at the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport station and operates between Miami and West Palm Beach. A free shuttle transports travelers between the Main Terminal and the rail station.
FLL is home to two airline lounges. Delta Sky Club is located in Terminal 2 and the United Club is located in Terminal 1 near Gate C1. The United Club is open from 5:30 - 8:30pm Sunday through Friday and 5:30am - 7:30pm on Saturday.
